A Growing Religion
Christianity is India’s thirdmost common religion – after Hinduism (~1B) and Islam (~200M) – with nearly 30M citizens of India identifying as Christian. Two of our missions with The Lutheran Study Bible translation initiative are to grow the Christianity community within India and to help those who already identify as Christians better understand The Holy Bible and its messages.
